Los Lunas pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Albuquerque, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Los Lunas has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .454. However, it's not like Albuquerque struggles in that department as they've averaged .530. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Los Lunas' way against Albuquerque in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Los Lunas made off with an 18-8 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
