Richland has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Stover Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Richland will be strutting in after a win while the Bulldogs will be coming in after a defeat.
Richland scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Eldon by a score of 57-48. That nine point margin sets a new team best for Richland this season.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Stover's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Northwest on the road and fell 56-24. While losing is never fun, Stover can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Mustangs are ranked 92nd).
The win got Richland back to even at 2-2. As for Stover, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
