Basketball Recap: Paul Public Charter International Falls Despite Big Games from Quran Williams and Kamrin Milam

If Paul Public Charter International was feeling good fresh off their 67-15 takedown of Richard Wright Public Charter School on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paul Public Charter International Pirates took a 71-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastern Ramblers on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 82-80 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Paul Public Charter International's loss came despite strong showings from Kamrin Milam and Quran Williams. Milam went 8 for 15 on his way to 20 points, while Williams went 5 of 9 on his way to 18 points. Milam's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorenzo Stanbeck, who posted nine points.

Paul Public Charter International's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Paul Public Charter International didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-42 victory against Connexions Leadership Academy on the 16th. Eastern has also already played their next game, a 72-35 defeat against Jackson-Reed on the 16th.
