Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Vincentian Academy should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They are leaving PA behind and heading out of state to face off against Paden City at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
Things haven't been easy for Vincentian Academy, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a serious blow against Philipsburg-Osceola last Friday, falling 0-49.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Paden City lost to Clay-Battelle, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-36. Paden City were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-22.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
