The Wahkiakum Mules will take on the Ocosta Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Wahkiakum will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
Wahkiakum is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Oakville with a sharp 30-10 victory on Monday.

Evy Hogue was incredible, getting on base in all six of her plate appearances with five runs, six RBI, and one stolen base. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 3.2 RBI per game. Another player making a difference was Amy Horman, who scored five runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her seven plate appearances.
Wahkiakum was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Ocosta might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Naselle who claimed the real prize. The Wildcats lost 15-6 to the Comets.
Joanah Rosander spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and 13 unearned) runs on 15 hits and racked up seven Ks.
On the hitting side, Sophie Olive made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances. Anna Davis also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Ocosta now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Wahkiakum, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wahkiakum has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .586. However, it's not like Ocosta struggles in that department as they've averaged .497. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Wahkiakum came up short against Ocosta in their previous meeting back in March, falling 12-8. Can the Mules avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
