Dunbar waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-48 W against the Benjamin Franklin Bayhawks. The Poets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bayhawks, too.

Dunbar's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Benjamin Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

Dunbar and Benjamin Franklin should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings. Dunbar will face off against Green Street Academy on Monday up 183 places (59 vs. 242). Meanwhile, Benjamin Franklin (ranked 122nd) will meet Digital Harbor (ranked 302nd) on Tuesday.
