Softball Recap: West Salem Has No Trouble Against Luther

While West Salem put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Luther. The Panthers blew past the Knights 13-0. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

West Salem is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Luther, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Salem is set to take on their familiar foe Westby at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Luther will face off against rival Black River Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
