Hoover had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Thompson on Tuesday. The Buccaneers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 4-0 win. Considering Hoover have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hoover has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those seven games. As for Thompson, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-5-1.

Looking ahead, Hoover is taking a road trip to take on Oak Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thompson, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Westminster School at Oak Mountain at 3:30 p.m. Westminster School at Oak Mountain will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Thompson surely won't give up without a fight.
