Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Central walked away with it. They blew past the Smiths Station Panthers, posting a 38-7 victory. The Red Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Smiths Station still got an impressive performance from Brooke Norred, who threw for 227 yards and one touchdown. 87 of those passing yards were hauled in by Korbyn Missildine.

Central's win bumped their record up to 19-0. As for Smiths Station, they moved to 13-4 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Central will challenge Vestavia Hills at 6:00 p.m. on December 3. The Rebels will roll in looking for their 27th straight victory, something the Red Devils surely won't give up without a fight. Smiths Station does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
