The Hebbronville Longhorns lost against the Agua Dulce Longhorns last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hebbronville took a 26-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of Agua Dulce. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hebbronville has scored all season.
Avery Calvez was her usual excellent self, scoring ten points for Agua Dulce. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Calvez has scored at least 25% of Agua Dulce's points.
Hebbronville now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Agua Dulce, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
Hebbronville is on the road again on Saturday and play against Ben Bolt at 12:00 p.m. on December 9th. Agua Dulce won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Taft at 2:00 p.m. on December 9th.
