Pittston had won five straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 13-0 to make it six. Everything went their way against the Crestwood Comets as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Silvio Giardina was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Giardina was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.
