The Pikes Peak Christian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They strolled past Denver Jewish Day with points to spare, taking the game 43-24. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pikes Peak Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February.
It was another big night for Rebecca Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Thomas has scored at least 25% of Pikes Peak Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Black, who scored four points along with ten steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Pikes Peak Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Denver Jewish Day, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Pikes Peak Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Thomas MacLaren School at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Denver Jewish Day, they will head out on the road to face off against Golden View Classical Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Golden View Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 last Saturday.
