Cumberland Valley won against Central Dauphin  last Friday with 24  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Friday. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy  24-6 win over the Central Dauphin East Panthers. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the   34-28 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in September of 2024.

Cumberland Valley found their leader in sophomore  Rocco Bushman, who rushed for 128 yards. Those 128  rushing yards set a new season-high mark for  Bushman.
 On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Cumberland Valley's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.
The  win  got Cumberland Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Central Dauphin East, their defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 2-4.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cumberland Valley will  square off against  rival Bishop McDevitt  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Eagles 11.5, the Crusaders 12.7) so any  points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Central Dauphin East is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Central Dauphin  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
