After flying high against the Lamar Thunder last Friday, The Woodland Park Panthers came back down to earth. Woodland Park had to suffer through a rough 43-7 loss at the hands of Alamosa. Having soared to a lofty 49 points in the game before, Woodland Park couldn't push the score so high this time.
It was another big night for Dyson Woodward, who threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Brant Jackson also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Woodland Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Alamosa, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-5.
Woodland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Alamosa will take on Delta at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Delta is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
