Kayley Mcleod made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mcleod was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.
In other batting news, Countryside Christian got a massive performance out of Joy Sullivan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Riley Keith, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Countryside Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .857. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
