Pinnacle put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 45-39 W against the Altamont Longhorns. Those 45 points were actually the fewest the Panthers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Pinnacle's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody Howell, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Howell has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominick Vigil, who shot 55% from the field on his way to 15 points.

Pinnacle's record is now 7-0. As for Altamont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Pinnacle will take on Rockwell in a tournament on Friday. As for Altamont, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Duchesne at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
