Jensyn Harol and Grace Wackerly did some serious damage despite the final result: Harol scored four runs and stole two bases off of four hits, while Wackerly went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a triple. Harol is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last four games she's played. Nanna Lopez was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Even though they lost, Virginia City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coleville only posted a batting average of .276.
Carlin pushed their record up to 20-4 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Virginia City, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
