Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Walled Lake Western). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-21 victory over the Walled Lake Central Vikings. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while the Vikings are ranked 305th).

Donovan Triplett went supernova, rushing for 245 yards and four TDs on only 15 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was David Krall, who threw for 141 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes.

The win was the fourth in a row for Walled Lake Western, bringing their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games. As for Walled Lake Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Walled Lake Western will be playing in front of their home fans against Brother Rice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Walled Lake Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
