The Chapman Fighting Irish's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 59-44 fall against Southeast of Saline. Chapman has struggled against the Trojans recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Southeast of Saline got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Owen Bailey out in front who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Kejr, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Chapman's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Southeast of Saline, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
Chapman will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wamego is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Southeast of Saline, they will head out on the road to face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beloit will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
