The Hamilton Wildcats will be playing at home against the Ridgeway Roadrunners at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
Even though Power Center Academy scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Hamilton still came out on top. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Hamilton made off with a 65-64 victory over Power Center Academy.
Devan McGee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Rodney Mcneal, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Ridgeway had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.2 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They walked away with a 74-61 victory over Melrose. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Ridgeway, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Hamilton suffered a grim 75-53 defeat to Ridgeway in their previous matchup on January 9th. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ridgeway's Brian Carter, Jr., who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
