Concord Wins Ninth-Straight Thanks to Jaron Thomas
Jaron Thomas's big game helped extend Concord's winning streak to nine on Friday. Thomas was dynamite, rushing for 78 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made 11 total tackles.
Thomas must have Plymouth's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Thomas rushed for 186 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the Pilgrims/Rockies duked it out back in October of 2023.

Concord picked up their ninth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Char'Rese Breveard. Plymouth had no answer to Breveard as he rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Breveard a new career-high in rushing yards.
For the season, Breveard has caught 6 touchdowns while averaging 72.2 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.

A Season-Best Effort from Carson Francis Leads Mishawaka over Wawasee
Mishawaka was led to victory by Carson Francis, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Francis rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.
Mishawaka has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Francis and Mishawaka will square off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
