Evansville Reitz is 8-2 against Evansville Memorial since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Evansville Reitz is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Evansville Bosse a 19-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on five straight.

Evansville Memorial's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Evansville Reitz, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Evansville Reitz came out on top in a nail-biter against Evansville Memorial in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
