Green Valley waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Canyon View Jaguars by a score of 2-0.

David Davila paced Green Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Davila got some help from Jeremiah Nissley and his 15 assists. Kaikona Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Green Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-16. As for Canyon View, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coming up, Green Valley is taking a road trip to take on Cheyenne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Green Valley is facing Cheyenne at the right time seeing as Cheyenne is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Canyon View, they will square off against Sunrise Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
