Century pushed their record up to 12-7 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. The  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Meridian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

The Centurions will  face off against  Crab Orchard  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday with a big rank  disadvantage  (347 vs. 92). Meanwhile,  Meridian (ranked 587th) will meet Carbondale (ranked 201st)  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
