The Trinity Christian Academy Lions lost against the Jackson Christian Eagles on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. Trinity Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough  66-38 loss at the hands of Jackson Christian. While losing is never fun, Trinity Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings  (they are ranked 290th, while Jackson Christian is ranked 123rd).
 Despite the  defeat, Trinity Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up:  Rylee Hidrogo  scored 17 points along with two  steals. Hidrogo is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's  played.  Mallory Arnold was another key contributor,  scoring seven points.
 Trinity Christian Academy  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only two  offensive rebounds. They are  winless (0-4) when  they can't control their own glass like that.
 Trinity Christian Academy dropped their record down to 4-15 with that  loss, which was their ninth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Jackson Christian,  the  victory  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 12-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Fayette Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on January 27th. Fayette Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Jackson Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tipton-Rosemark Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
