Kelsie McKinney was New Life Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Leah Adkins was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 steals for Greater Beckley Christian. That makes it four consecutive games in which Adkins has scored at least 25% of Greater Beckley Christian's points. Aislinn Pelfrey was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals.
New Life Christian Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Greater Beckley Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
