The Beatty Hornets are on the road again on Tuesday and play against the Liberty Baptist Academy Knights at 4:00 p.m. on December 12th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Beatty, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 30-16 loss to Beaver Dam.
Meanwhile, Liberty Baptist Academy came up short against Mountain View Christian on Friday and fell 43-35.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Isaiah Duran, who scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Campbell, who scored 8 points.
Lund's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Beatty's loss dropped theirs to 1-5.
Beatty didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Liberty Baptist Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, but they still walked away with a 57-53 win.
