The Brook Hill Guard have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Shelton 72-27 on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Brook Hill who now have five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brook Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brenna Hill, who scored 22 points along with seven steals and five assists. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Remy Tonroy, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Brook Hill is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Shelton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brook Hill will take on Prince of Peace at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prince of Peace is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Shelton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against McKinney Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m.
