It was a good run, but The Aquinas Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 35-22 to Foothill. Aquinas was down 35-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Aaron Mitchell was on fire for Foothill: he rushed for 215 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Aquinas' defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Foothill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
Aquinas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Foothill will square off against Newbury Park at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Newbury Park is ranked 125th, while Foothill is ranked 140th).
