Tongue River had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 7-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of Moorcroft. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Tongue River off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Moorcroft a 1-0 record.
Tongue River will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Niobrara County at 6:00 PM. Moorcroft are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Burns next week at 6:00 PM.
