If the Eagle's Landing Eagles were riding high off their 68-15 takedown of the Locust Grove Wildcats last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Eagle's Landing was outmatched by the Wolverines at home and fell 57-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Eagle's Landing has scored all season.
Union Grove's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nadea Smith, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Brooks, who scored 14 points.
Eagle's Landing has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Union Grove, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 24-1.
Eagle's Landing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Union Grove also has no future games currently scheduled.
