After flying high against the Deer Creek Antlers last Tuesday, the Norman North Timberwolves came back down to earth. Norman North fell just short of Norman by a score of 51-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Norman North has suffered yet this season.
Norman was led to victory by Keeley Parks and Ady Hybl. Parks scored 16 points along with seven steals and six rebounds, while Hybl scored 18 points along with five assists and two steals. Parks is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Destinee Deer, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Norman North has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Norman, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
