Russia extended their winning streak to five on Thursday, bumping them up to 10-6. They never let the Jackson Center Tigers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

As for Jackson Center, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Jackson Center's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailey Evans, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Russia will head out to square off against Minster at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jackson Center, they will square off against Upper Scioto Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
