Northwest Rankin's loss was their third straight at home , which bumped their record down to 5-5. As for Brandon, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Northwest Rankin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brandon will look to defend their home field on November 10th against Harrison Central at 7:00 p.m. Harrison Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Brandon is ranked third).
