Mars had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Penn Hills Indians 18-3 on Wednesday. The Fightin' Planets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Makenna White looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.
On the hitting side, Mars got a massive performance out of Abby Robinson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Robinson continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Laura Craska was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.
