Isaiah Ackerman was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Warmerdam, who scored seven points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, San Lorenzo Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. Their rough 63-42 loss to Soquel might stick with them for a while. That's two games in a row now that San Lorenzo Valley has lost by exactly 21 points.
Aptos has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for San Lorenzo Valley, they bumped their record down to 9-10 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
