It's playoff time, and Manteo had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the North Johnston Panthers on Friday. The result was nothing new for Manteo, who have now won 15 games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit North Johnston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abbi Calvio (4), Kenzie Flynn (4), Maribel Rivera Reyes, and Annie Maner.

Manteo pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for North Johnston, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4-1.

Coming up, Manteo will head out to take on Seaforth at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Seaforth will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something Manteo surely won't give up without a fight. North Johnston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
