The Clayton Bulldogs entered their tilt with the Eagletown Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Clayton snuck past Eagletown with a 57-52 win on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Clayton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tyler Clemons was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. He set a new season high mark in steals with seven. Stefen Lewis was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Clayton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Eagletown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
Clayton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Vanoss at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th. Eagletown will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Haworth at 6:30 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
