The Ware Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Quaboag Regional Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Ware knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully the Cougars like a good challenge.
Even though Monson scored an imposing 62 points back in January, Ware still came out on top. Ware walked away with a 69-62 victory over the Mustangs.
Meanwhile, Quaboag Regional was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 46-41 to the Tigers. It was the first time this season that Quaboag Regional let down their fans at home.
Ware now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Quaboag Regional, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-7.
Ware might still be hurting after the 62-36 defeat they got from the Cougars when the teams last played back in February of 2023. Can Ware avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
