Trenton has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Williston has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Tigers will welcome the Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Trenton 1.2, Williston 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Trenton barely beat The Villages Charter the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Buffalo a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Brant Bivens and Mason VunCannon made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Bivens didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. Meanwhile, VunCannon pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. At the plate, Bivens went 2-for-5 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI, while VunCannon went 1-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Holden Beauchamp, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Brayden Cobb was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Williston posted their closest win since March 28, 2025 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lake Weir 5-3.
Ethan Morrow tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched.
At the plate, Aiden Phillips was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kenan Bellamy, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
Williston's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Trenton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Trenton has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Williston struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
