Last Tuesday, Terrell County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-43 victory over Seminole County.
Tadreuna Rogers was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. The contest was her fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ciara Harvey, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Mitchell County was beaten by Early County 58-21 on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mitchell County has scored all season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mitchell County struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Terrell County's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Mitchell County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Terrell County hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 55.6 points per game. It's a different story for Mitchell County, though, as they've been averaging only 37 points per game. The only thing between Terrell County and another offensive beatdown is Mitchell County. Will they be able to keep them contained?
Terrell County didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Mitchell County when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 49-45 win.
