The Stebbins Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Urbana Hillclimbers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Stebbins is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 74-55 win over Fairborn on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Stebbins' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aubrey Fritz led the charge by putting up 21 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Those seven assists gave Fritz a new career-high. Miley Amann was another key player, going 7 for 14 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds.
Fritz wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Stebbins was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairborn only posted eight assists.
Meanwhile, Urbana beat Tecumseh 52-40 on Saturday. Given the Hillclimbers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Arrows are ranked 462nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Stebbins better keep an eye on Peyton Mounce. She was instrumental in Urbana's win, going 10 of 22 on her way to 25 points and eight boards. Mounce's evening made it nine games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia MacKendrick, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine boards.
Stebbins is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for Urbana, their record is now 11-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Stebbins has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Urbana struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Stebbins was taken down by Urbana 64-37 when the teams last played back in November of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Mounce, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. Now that Stebbins knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
