The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mountain Crest, who took down 11th ranked Box Elder, 20-13.
Logan extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 5 this week by beating Sky View, 52-17. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Logan's dynamic duo of Luke Falk and Jesse Braddy proved tough for the Bobcats to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Falk threw for 469 yards and six touchdowns and Braddy had 150 yards receiving. Beau Artist helped Logan's passing attack out by catching eight balls for 116 yards.
Jaden Connor made the biggest impact on defense this week as Mike Favero's team defeated Sky View. The 6-foot-0 junior grabbed one sack.
Ethan Dursteler was the most productive running back in the league this week. In three carries, he ran for 67 yards as Craig Anhder's team topped Craig Anhder's team. Teammate Braxton Godderidge added to the ground attack by rushing for 17 yards.
Logan's Falk and Braddy have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Falk has thrown for 2478 yards this season, while Braddy, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 71 catches for 844 yards. Kyler Allen from the Bees leads the league in rushing with 430 yards.
The marquee game in 4A Region 5 this week will be the clash between the Grizzlies and the Mustangs. Logan enters the contest ranked sixth in the state, while Mountain Crest ranks 17th.
Roy suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 28-21 loss to Roy. The Royals had been ranked 24th, but fell to 29 following the defeat.
