They were just one part of a punishing run game: Walhalla was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 208 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 80.5 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five matchups they've averaged 176.7.

One of the most notable was Noah Thomas, who threw for 242 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 97 yards and one TD. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 84 yards. Belton-Honea Path's leading receiver Tajeh Watson-Martin was Thomas' top target yet again, picking up 215 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Belton-Honea Path's defense and their three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Watson-Martin, Kamarion Glenn, and Ty Dubose, who each picked up one sack apiece.
