There's no place like home for the Wayne Blue Devils, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Friday. They managed a 48-43 victory over Lakeview on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Wayne, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Wayne found their leader in underclassman Haley Kramer, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Frantzdie Barner, who scored 12 points.
Wayne's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lakeview, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne will be home for the holidays to greet Wisner-Pilger at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakeview will take on Logan View/Scribner-Snyder at TBD on Tuesday.
