The St. David's Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Arendell Parrott Academy 50-25. The victory was familiar territory for St. David's who now have six in a row.
Eliza Everett was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kate Benson, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
St. David's has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. David's will face off against Hickory Grove Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Hickory Grove Christian: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while St. David's has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. Arendell Parrott Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bear Grass Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
