The Hoisington Cardinals lost against the Haven Wildcats back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hoisington fell 55-43 to Haven. Hoisington has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Hoisington still got an impressive performance from Ellie Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Crawford has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kylee Hahn, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Hoisington has not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Haven, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Hoisington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-25 win vs. Lyons on the 9th. Haven has also already played their next game, a 39-31 loss against Smoky Valley on the 9th.
