The North Miami Beach Chargers suffered their biggest defeat since December 28, 2023 on Monday. They suffered a rough 61-39 defeat at the hands of King's Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Miami Beach has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why North Miami Beach lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jonathan Joseph. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals. Dixson Brumaire was another key contributor, scoring five points along with four steals.
North Miami Beach now has a losing record at 8-9. As for King's Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-4.
North Miami Beach will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Doctors Charter at 7:30 p.m. King's Academy on the road again on Thursday and play against Palm Beach Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th.
