Union took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Choctaw Central, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Union Yellowjackets won by a run and slipped past the Choctaw Central Warriors 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Yellowjackets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Union's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Choctaw Central, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Coming up, Union will take on Brandon in a tournament on Friday. As for Choctaw Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Clarkdale at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
