Despite the defeat, Ritchie County saw an underclassman step up: Chelsie Jeffrey scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Elsa Law, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Parkersburg Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Ritchie County, they bumped their record down to 5-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
